The School Committee serves as a consultative body for the pastor and administrator on matters concerning school.

An attitude of teamwork, cooperation, unity, and mutual respect is required for effective service.

 

The overall roles are classified in the four major categories: Planning, Monitoring, Policy-making, and Communicating.

School Committee members serve on behalf of the entire membership of the parish. They are registered adult members of the parish who are practicing Catholics and are persons of integrity who have a genuine interest in and a strong commitment to the vision of the ministry. Members discern or are appointed by the pastor. The usual term of office is three years. The Committee is a working group of 7-9 people.
